Sanctuary Chai takes pride in ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Our select spices are produced with respect for the environment - from cooperatives which establish direct relationships with spice growers around the world: from cardamom producers in Guatemala to clove farmers in Madagascar.

Bypassing traditional market and commodity exchanges, Sanctuary Chai pays a premium to the growers that would normally be filtered out through middlemen and brokers - allowing for growers to invest in their land, communities, and into the quality of their spices.

Sanctuary Chai concentrates are a 1 to 3 concentration ratio. This differs from most chai concentrates which are a 1 to 1 concentration ratio. By using a 1 to 3 concentrate, we cut our packaging waste in half, use less resources and emissions in delivery operations, and provide cost value to our customers: we don't charge extra for added water, and you only need half the storage space.
